New Gypsy Ministry Blog for CBF

The CBF Gypsy Team has its own blog now. Different members of the team will be posting updates from their areas of the world. Take a look and check back often. Pray for the Gypsies, especially in eastern Europe as prejudice rears its ugly head.

Prayer Requests - November

We are thankful during this season for your prayers and support. And we pray God's blessing on you.
1. Continue to pray for the Gandhi High School in Pecs. Pray for a spirit of peace to prevail for all those associated with the school. Ask God to provide opportunities for the Adkins, their partners the Gobls, to be examples of Christ's love to the students.
2. Please continue to ask God to intervene and free up the paperwork for the Berencs church building. If the paperwork is not approved soon, the church will have to resubmit - a costly process.
3. Pray for the Gypsy Smith Leadership session being held Nov 16-20. Pray for Ralph and Glen Adkins as they lead. Pray for safety for all traveling to Bucharest.
4. Pray for Tammy & Clista Adkins as they provide a Staff Appreciation Week for the Ruth School Nov 16-20. Ask God to provide opportunities to make the staff feel loved and appreciated. Pray His message will shine through.
5. Pray for the Roma as winter arrives and they struggle for warm clothing to wear and fuel to heat their homes. Pray the economic situation in Hungary to improve so more Roma may find work.
6. Pray for the Offering for Global Missions during this season of thanksgiving and advent. Ask God to open hearts to give. This is the source of our financial support that enables to serve as CBF field personnel among the Roma.
7. Ask God to guide us as we continue in ministry here in Hungary.
8. Pray for our children, Amy & Josh. Amy is in her first year at Campbell Divinity School. Josh is in his second year at Davidson County Community College. Pray for good rest and fun while they are on their Thanksgiving break.
9. Pray for Tammy as she leads the English Club devotion on Nov 23rd with an explanation of Thanksgiving and by giving her testimony. Ask God to guide her words and open the hearts of those who need to hear of Christ.
